How far in advance should I book my laser tag equipment hire?

To ensure we can pack, ship and send your order to be ready for your event, we recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially for weekend dates. If you require an urgent hire, please contact us directly to discuss availability.

Is the equipment safe?

Yes! There are NO projectiles, no mess and no pain or bruising. Laser Tag is a generic name given to the activity and are no "lasers" actually used. Laser Tag 4 Hire phasers use a beam of safe infrared light, the same kind used in many toys and household appliances.

What happens if a piece of equipment gets damaged?

Our equipment is designed to be durable, but accidents can happen. Each rental includes basic insurance. Minor wear and tear is covered, but significant damage may incur additional fees. We recommend supervising younger children during play.

How long do the batteries last?

All our laser tag guns come fully charged and typically last 12+ hours of continuous play, which is more than enough for most events. The control unit and medic boxes also have similar battery life.

Do I need to be home for delivery and collection?

Yes - someone must be present to sign. Couriers cannot leave the boxes unattended. If you won't be home, please supply an alternate address (like your workplace). Once shipped, we can't change the address, so let us know early if your plans change.

When will my delivery arrive?

Deliveries usually happen between 9am and 5pm, two business days before your event. We usually use TNT or StarTrack, who aren't able to provide specific time slots. We aim to send your gear out early to give you time to prepare and allow for any hiccups.

Your return pickup will be scheduled for the next business day after your event. Please make sure someone is available to sign for both delivery and collection. Prefer to collect from or return to a local depot? Let us know - we can arrange that too.

What if my shipping is delayed?

In the rare case of shipping delays, we'll work with you to find a solution. This might include extending your rental period at no extra cost or providing a partial refund. We pride ourselves on reliable delivery, and delays are extremely uncommon.

Do I need to complete any paperwork for the return courier?

Nope! All return paperwork is already included in the box. We'll also take care of booking the return courier - there's nothing you need to arrange. This service is all part of your hire! If you have any questions about your pickup, you can always give us a call.

Can I use the equipment indoors and outdoors?

Yes! Our laser tag equipment works great both indoors and outdoors. For indoor play, you'll need a reasonably sized space with obstacles for cover. Outdoors, it works best in areas with natural cover like trees or in spaces where you can set up obstacles.

What's the age recommendation for players?

Our equipment is best suited for children aged 6 and up. Younger players may need more assistance with the equipment. There's no upper age limit – adults have just as much fun as kids!
